Our Story

Welcome to Highcrest Farm, a small ranch about 30 minutes west of Edmonton, Alberta. By day, we’re small-animal veterinarians; at home, we share our lives with dogs, cats, chickens, horses—and, of course, Highland coos!

Todd grew up on a dairy farm and has been around horses for as long as he can remember. For the past 20 years, he’s raised horses for cutting and sorting.

Andrea started out as a city mouse but found herself falling in love with country life. In 2020, Todd surprised her with Highland cows for her birthday—and she hasn’t looked back since.
